The 9th meeting of System and Economics Study Committee of Cigre Iran

On Augest 19th 2018, the 9th meeting of System and Economics Study Committee of Cigre Iran was held at Cigre Iran Secretariat - Monenco Iran Consulting Engineers with the presence of the chairman, secretary and main members of the committee.
Mr. Asadzadeh, member of the committee, presented a brief report about “Harmonic Study in Azarbaijan Regional Transmission System” and the main related challenges. Also, he described CVT's roles in harmonic resonance phenomenon as one of the main challenges in harmonic distortion in transmission grid. Following his report a new working group for harmonic study in transmission system was recommended by the committee.
In addition to above, according to Dr. Zanganeh (member of the committee) proposal, it was agreed to hold the professional meeting "Participation of Private Sector in Transmission and Subtransmission Extension Grid" in the 33rd Power System Conference (PSC) which is going to be held in November 2018.
