Mission:
To Facilitate and promote the progress of engineering and the international exchange of information and knowledge in the field of Information Systems and Telecommunication. To add value to this information and knowledge by means of synthesizing state-of-the- art practices and developing recommendations.

 Scope:

• ICT applied to the networks of the future
• Telecommunication networks in Electric Power utilities (architectures, media, protocols...)
• New ICT architectures to control the bulk power systems (smart meter, smart grid, intelligent grid, control centers EMS, MMS etc...)
• ICT governance within utilities – in-house versus outsourced
• Information security within the Electric Power Utilities
• Principals, Economics, Design, Engineering, Performance, Operation and Maintenance of Telecommunication and Information Networks and services for Electric Power Industry
• Monitoring of related Technologies
