The first meeting of System Development and Economics Study Committee of CIGRE Iran was held on July 24th 2024 from 14:00 to 16:00 at CIGRE Iran Secretariat - Monenco Iran Co. with the presence of the main members and the chairman and secretary of the committee. The Agenda of this meeting was as follows:

1- Welcome and introduction of committee members.

2- A brief description of the structure and activities of CIGRE and CIGRE Iran.

3- General introduction of the activities of the committee in the previous period and the perspective and plans of the committee in the new period.

4- Presenting a proposed mechanism for the development of the activities of the committee and its effective role in the electricity industry.

5- Participation of committee members in discussion and summarizing and decisions of the meeting.

At first, the chairman of the committee welcomed the members of the committee, introduced the members of the committee, and then made a general statement about the structure and activities of CIGRE and CIGRE Iran. The activities of the previous period of the committee and the perspective and plans of the committee in the new period are explained, and in the following, the proposed mechanism for the impact of the studies of the working groups of the committee on the activity. The committee's results were presented as part of the international C1 committee as well as the Iranian electricity industry.

In the following, the committee members explained their views. At the end, the meeting calendar was agreed for the first Tuesday of every month from 14:00 to 16:00 CIGRE Iran Secretariat - Monenco Iran Co. It was also decided that by the time of the next meeting, the members of the committee will submit a number of titles and, if possible, appropriate proposals based on the proposed titles to the committee for forming a working group.
