The sixth meeting of the System Development and Economics Study Committee of CIGRE-Iran was held on 24^th Dec. 2024 from 14:00 to 16:00 at Cigre Iran Secretariat - Monenco Iran Co. with the presence of the main members and the chairman and secretary of the committee. The Agenda of this meeting was as follows:

1- Report of the Committee Chairman on the follow-up of the committee's programs in the previous month and their results, as well as the news of the international committee

2- Follow-up the remaining items in the previous meeting regarding the formation of working groups and the members' reports on the assigned items

3- Presentation of the first committee seminar in the meeting by Mr. Zeinali

4- Summary and conclusions of the meeting

At first, the most important news and events of the Iranian and international C1 in the past month were presented. Then, Mr Mostaghimi's proposal was presented by him to form a new working group, and after discussion and review, it was approved. Also, it was decided to prepare it in the form of the formal working group proposal. Next, Mr. Khandani presented the first seminar of the committee entitled "Feasibility Assessment of Connecting the Iranian and Russian Electricity Grids with Two Scenarios of Iran, Azerbaijan, and Russia, as well as Iran, Armenia, Georgia, and Russia.", and the Q/A session was held. It was requested the members to present the second seminar in the next committee meeting. Finally, a proposal for cooperation between the two committees C1 and C5 was presented and it was decided to make the necessary coordination.
