The ninth meeting of the System Development and Economics Study Committee of Cigre Iran was held as an extraordinary meeting on March 11th 2025 from 14:00 to 16:00 at Cigre Iran Secretariat - Monenco Iran Co. with the presence of the main members and the chairman and secretary of the committee. The agenda for this meeting was as follows:

1- Review and approval of the proposal submitted by Mr Raei to form the second working group of the committee.

2- Report of the meeting on the 765 kV grid plan at Tavanir Company and the discussion and opinions of the members on it.

3- Overview of the committee's plan for the coming year.

4- Review of the committee's news in the previous month.

The first item of the agenda was canceled due to the absence of the proposer. Then, the report of the meeting on the 765 kV grid plan that was held on March 4th 2025 at Tavanir Company was presented by the chairman of the committee, and the views of the committee members on these issues were expressed. The most important of them included the separation of the two issues of constructing the South-North corridor based on the 765 kV voltage level in comparison with the development of the transmission grid infrastructure based on this voltage level, as well as the need to apply the concept of the new architecture of the Iranian power system based on the 765 kV voltage level. In the end, it was decided to announce the committee's views on this matter to the Ministry of Energy in a short technical report.

A review of the committee's plan for the coming year, as well as the committee's news from the previous month, was presented at this meeting. Also, it was decided the first meeting of the committee in the coming year would be held on Tuesday, April 22th 2025.
